経済・公共政策プログラム
Program in Economic and Public Policy (PEPP)
PEPP (Economic Policy and Public Policy Courses for WB/ADB Scholarship Fellows) established in 1995, the program is designed for young professionals in developing and transition economies. Currently, we offer a Course in Economic Policy, taught in English leading to a Master of Arts in International Public Policy. The course, starting in October every year, consists of three semesters lasting 1.5 years. Scholars selected for the program are supported by the World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ / WBGSP) or the Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP).
PEPP (Course in Economic Policy for MEXT Scholarship Fellows and other students including self-funded students)
PEPP’s Course in Economic Policy is a high-quality English-language economics program open to all students (including Japanese) regardless of nationality and funding source. The curriculum for this course is identical to the Course in Economic Policy described in the PEPP (WB/ADB Scholarship Fellows) Course. This course is also suitable for Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship candidates who have already passed the Embassy Recommendation procedures for the MEXT scholarship and current MEXT Scholarship students are particularly encouraged to apply for this track.

JDS公共政策特別プログラム
Special Program in Public Policy (JDS)
This program aims to contribute to the betterment of young public officials from Asian countries in the field of public policy. The program is designed for recipients of the “Japanese Grant Aid for Human Resource Development Scholarship (JDS)” offered by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the “Japan Human Resource Development Scholarship for Chinese Young Leaders (JDS China)” offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The program starts in the fall semester (October) and is designed to enable students to obtain a Master of Arts in International Public Policy in 18 months.

日本・ユーラシア研究プログラム
Special Program in Japanese and Eurasian Studies (SPJES)
This program is designed for training people who can solve various problems and issues related to sustainable development in Central Asian states. This is a graduate program offering students from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Azerbaijan an MA degree in 18 months. It is supported by the Nippon Foundation Central Asia Fellowship. Those applicants who demonstrate outstanding abilities will be awarded full scholarships from the Nippon Foundation (up to 10 scholarships per year).

アフリカの若者のための産業人材育成イニシアティブ
African Business Education Initiative for Youth (ABE)
The objective of the ABE Initiative master’s degree and internship program is to support young personnel who have the potential to contribute to the development of industries in Africa. This program offers opportunities for young African men and women to enroll in master’s courses in Japanese universities as international students and experience internships at Japanese enterprises.
